BIO

Byron Bay's Lil Gypsy Kathryn Jones is a dynamic, seasoned performer whose unique music is a self-styled mix of country roots blending Gypsy soul, swing, country blues, folk and rockabilly. Her debut album "Yesterday’s News " was nominated in 2012 for Best Album at the Tamworth CMF in the People’s Choice Awards as well as Kathryn being nominated for Most Promising Future Star.
"Yesterday’s News" is a nostalgically charming debut album with 1950's cowgirl touches. Refreshingly different and thank goodness for that" - Rosie Adsett Country Update Magazine Issue 61

Brought into the fold singing harmonies for well-loved songbird Clelia Adams, Kathryn worked hard carving out a name for herself with dynamic live performances & recording two fabulous award-winning albums.

Launched during the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Jones’ latest album Lil Gypsy is a collaborative effort between herself and Golden Guitar Winner/Award winning producer Steve Passfield.
